Civil Service Commission spearheads the 119th Anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service with the theme. “Civil Service at 119: Upholding Integrity and Building a High Trust Society”. It is to commemorate the enacted Public Law No. 5: An Act for the Establishment and Maintenance of an Efficient and Honest Civil Service in the Philippine Island on September 19, 1900. In addition, it is to celebrate the achievements and contributions of the government’s personnel in upholding the country’s societal goals and over-all vision.
