- Republic Act No . 10661 declares November of Every Year as the National Children’s Month (NCM). It mandates DepEd to facilitate and to encourage the celebration of the NCM in all public schools nationwide.
- This year’s celebration focuses on upholding children’s rights in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic with the theme “Sama-samang Itaguyod ang Karapatan ng Bawat Bata sa Panahon ng Pandemya! “.
- In line with this, the Schools Division Office thru the School Governance and Operations Division-Youth Formation shall conduct the 2020 National Children’s Month Culminating Activity on November 27, 2020.
- To give importance to children with extraordinary talents, each school shall have one participant in each of the following categories:
- Poem-reciting contest for primary level;
- Family tiktok challenge for intermediate level; and
- Creative story-telling for junior and senior high school
- Certificate and cash prizes will be given to participants and winners. Online awarding ceremony is scheduled on November 27,
